projects Details

Imagine the pulsating heart of Tehran's Sana'at Square: hurried crowds, impatient car horns, and families, students, and seniors needing to cross eight lanes of relentless traffic. Our project wasn't just about building a bridge; it was about creating a "vertical oasis."

We designed a delicate, sculptural steel bridge with a single central pillar and two suspended decks, casting minimal shadow on the life and businesses below, aiming to offer more than just a crossing—a moment of respite.

Our main goal

Our mission went beyond mere functionality. We wanted to carve out a safe, even inspiring, moment within the city's frantic pace. The goal was to restore the citizen's right to a safe and dignified walk while gifting the bustling Tehran nightscape a luminous jewel through artistic lighting—a beacon of thoughtful urban design.

Take a look to our challenges

The challenge was like performing open-heart surgery on a beating organ. How do you bring cranes into a perpetually gridlocked intersection? Our solution turned the site into a nightly theatre stage. All components were fabricated off-site, and the final installation was a precisely choreographed dance performed over a few quiet nights. Our biggest test, however, was winning the trust of local shopkeepers, assuring them this structure wouldn't steal customers but would instead gift the neighborhood a valuable new public space.
